  • 2. How does the meter system work?

    Here at Buy As You View, our most popular payment system is our unique Mark IV coin meter that is discretely connected to your television. The coin meter enables you to manage your finances on a daily, weekly or fortnightly basis, paying for your product(s) as you go, meaning that once the payment term has been met, you own the product. Whilst the meter is connected to the TV, it can be used to pay for other products such as washing machines, laptops, cookers, sofas or bikes – anything from the Buy As You View product range including ValueLine!   • 3. Who empties my meter and how often?

    Your Account Manager will pop round every eight weeks to empty your meter. If the meter becomes full before collection is due, we will send an experienced staff member around to your proprty as soon as we can.

  • 4. Do I have to be employed?

    No, you don't need to be employed to become a BAYV customer. Our service is tailored to your individual needs. You will meet your personal Account Manager to talk about what you can afford to buy. At Buy As You View we understand that everyone is different but equally deserving.

  • 5. What if there is too much money in my meter?

    Many of our customers love this bit! If there is more money in the meter than required, we give it straight back to you, there and then.

    We will agree a new meter setting with you to cover the shortfall and ensure that it doesn't happen again.

  • 7. Do Buy As You View have a product catalogue?

    Yes. We produce a new catalogue 2-3 times per year. This is packed with products ranging from TVs and audio equipment to beds and sofas. You will also receive regular taster catalogues and special offer flyers.

  • 8. What products do Buy As You View sell?

    We sell a wide range of products for all areas of your home. Browse through our catalogue or website to view the fridges, freezers, cookers, sofas, beds, TVs, computers, consoles and much much more! Your Customer Account Manager can also talk you through the features of any products that interest you.

  • 9. Can I buy online?

    At present, we do not offer an online purchase facility. However, you can apply to become a Buy As You View customer by completing our simple online application form.

  • 10. Can I buy more than one product at a time?

    We strongly support responsible lending and carefully assess the needs of every customer. Your Account Manager is always at hand to discuss new purchases. Alternatively, you can call us on 0845 1215690.

  • 11. How quickly are products delivered?

    We aim to deliver any in-stock items within 72 hours of receiving your order, however some items are special order and do take longer. Also, made-to-order furniture, such as leather suites are generally delivered between six and eight weeks.

  • 12. Do Buy As You View charge for delivery?

    We charge a fee of £10 for the delivery of small items and £20 for the delivery of large items. We have our own team of delivery drivers who are highly trained to install and demonstrate your products.

    When you buy products from Buy As You View, you have the option to take out our great value, optional service package known as All Sorted. For just a small weekly payment, our comprehensive product gives you peace of mind and no big repair bills.

  • 15. What is the quality of the products that Buy As You View sell?

    We sell quality, branded equipment from names you know and trust. Names include: Samsung, Finlux, Beko, Hotpoint, Toshiba, Atlantic, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony, JVC and Acer, as well a great range of Julian Bowen bedroom furniture. We supply an extensive range of leather and fabric suites made to the highest specification. Our Valueline range also guarantees quality and reliability for those on a smaller budget.

  • 16. Do the products belong to me straight away?

    As with any hire purchase agreement, the products will be completely yours when you make your last payment.

  • 17. What if my product has a fault or breaks down?

    All products (excluding ValueLine) are covered for 12 months under the manufacturers guarantee. If the product goes wrong after 12 months and you have taken advantage of All Sorted (our great value, optional service package), we will call out to your home at a convenient time to collect the product and either fix or replace it.
