2. How does the meter system work?
It’s very simple. We connect a discrete meter to your television. You insert £1 coins, at regular intervals, into the meter to help budget your payments. These payments are then collected by your Account Manager every eight weeks. We also offer a weekly or monthly direct debit payment option*.

3. Who empties my meter and how often?
Your Account Manager will pop round every eight weeks to empty your meter at your convenience. If the meter becomes full before collection is due, we will send a service staff member to call round to promptly rectify the situation.

4. Do I have to be employed?
You do not need to be employed to become a BAYV customer. Our service is tailored to your individual needs. You will meet your personal Account Manager to talk about what you can afford to buy. At Buy As You View we understand that everyone is different but equally deserving.

5. What if there is too much money in my coinmeter?
Many of our customers love this bit! If there is more money in the meter than required, we give it straight back to you, there and then.

6. What if there is too little money in my coinmeter?
We will agree a new meter setting with you and re-set the meter so that this doesn't become a reoccurring problem for you.

7. Do Buy As You View have a product catalogue?
Yes. We produce a forty-eight page catalogue every three months. This is packed with products ranging from TVs and Hi-Fis to beds and rugs. You will also receive regular supplements and special offer flyers.

8. What products do Buy As You View sell?
We sell a wide range of products for all areas of your home. Browse through our catalogue or website to view the fridges, freezers, cookers, heaters, settees, beds, carpets, televisions, computers, video cameras and much much more that you could change today. Your Account Manager can also talk you through the features of any products that interest you.

9. Can I buy online?
At present, we do not offer an online purchase facility. However, you can complete your order online.

10. Can I buy more than one product at a time?
We strongly support responsible lending and carefully assess the needs of every customer. Your Account Manager is always at hand to discuss new purchases. Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 138 7788.

11. How quickly are products delivered?
We aim to deliver any in-stock items within forty-eight hours of receiving your order. Some items are special order only and do take longer. Also, made-to-order furniture, such as leather suites, is generally delivered between six and eight weeks.

12. Do Buy As You View charge for delivery?
Our delivery service is of a platinum standard. Therefore we charge a small fee of £10 for the delivery of small items and £20 for the delivery of large items. We have our own team of delivery drivers who are highly trained to install and demonstrate your products.

13. Do Buy As You View have a service cover package?
When you buy products from Buy As You View, you have the option to take out our great value, optional service cover. For just a small weekly payment, our comprehensive cover gives you peace of mind and no big repair bills for three years.

15. What is the quality of the products that Buy As You View sell?
We sell quality, branded equipment from names you know and trust. Names include: Phillips, Beko, Hotpoint, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony, JVC and Acer, as well a great range of Julian Bowen bedroom furniture. We supply an extensive range of leather and fabric suites made to the highest specification. Our Valueline range also gaurantees quality and reliability for those on a smaller budget.

16. Do the products belong to me straight away?
As with any hire purchase agreement, the products will be completely yours when you make your last payment.

17. What if my product has a fault or breaks down?
If you have purchased a product from us and you have taken advantage of our great value, optional service package, we will endeavour to repair it in your home. If we cannot repair your product when we visit, we will provide you with a loan replacement whilst we address the problem.
